Unison celebrates employee of 35 years
Pictured above (l-r) are Laura Fullard (HR Director), Kim Smith (HR Generalist II) and Tiffany Henderson (Unison CEO).

Unison celebrates 20 (35 total) years of Faithful Service with Kim Smith. Smith initially started with the organization in 1985 as a student worker while she was in high school to assist the front office staff in our outpatient clinics. She also worked in the information technology department for a short period before transferring to our human resources (HR) department in 1997. In 2000, Smith left the agency to meet the needs of her growing family.

In 2005, Smith restarted her career with Unison as a personnel technician in HR where she continues to work today as an HR Generalist II. In her current role within the HR department, she maintains HR data, reporting, processing personnel actions, coordinates agency benefits and serves as the project coordinator for our HR software, Dayforce. Smith was instrumental in the successful implementation and ongoing support for Dayforce. Smith is described as everything any employer would want in an employee due to her loyalty, dependability and willingness to do whatever is necessary for the team’s success. Smith is always on team Unison and willing to do whatever to assist employees and the agency while demonstrating exemplary teamwork.

Unison thanks Smith for her dedication to her important role in helping the agency achieve its mission.
