BRUNSWICK – Paul Mitchell Taylor, 74 of Brunswick, passed away Monday, March 10, 2025 at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick after a brief illness.
Born in Brunswick, Taylor’s parents were Herman Perry Taylor and Callie Francis Carr Taylor. He is also preceded in death by a daughter, Rachel Taylor.
Taylor was a carpenter who loved riding motorcycles and fishing. He loved the mountains of Kentucky.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Paul Taylor II (Kimberly) of Waynesville; two daughters and a son-inlaw, Mechele Morris (Robie) of Hortense and Paula Taylor of Brunswick; sic grandchildren, Megan Morris, Robin Morris, Devon Taylor, Connor Taylor, Bradley Kennedy and Thomas Hope; five great grandchildren; a sister, Ann Steele of Folkston; a niece and nephew, Melody Steele and Mike Steele; and also several other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service was held Saturday, March 15, 2025 at the chapel of Frye Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Worthington officiating.
