Former Pierce County Middle School Athletic Director Coach Maureen “Mo” Brown was recently recognized during floor speeches in the U.S. House of Representatives. U.S. First District Congressman Buddy Carter (R-Pooler) recognized Coach Mo for recently being honored as Southeast Georgia Middle School Conference Athletic Director of the Year and for her recent retirement following 38 years of service. Congressman Carter also noted that Coach Brown will be returning to public service next month as the new Pierce County Recreation Director.
