Recovery group specialist Marilyn Conley will be the guest speaker at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 10 for the monthly Waycross Aglow Lighthouse worship at Our Beloved Church, 1700 Osceola Avenue.
Conley, a Blackshear resident with her husband, Neil, has led the Sisters in Christ Bible Study for the last two years with Bethesda Recovery.
She’ll soon add the program to Magnolia House for abused women and OATH, which serves the homeless.
Her current work follows nine years leading other recovery groups. Conley offers a testimony of God’s power and grace to deliver, save, set free and launch a broken, restored vessel into the harvest fields for Him.
She and her husband attend Destination Church.
“To me, there’s nothing more encouraging and faith building than to hear how God has transformed someone’s life from the depths of darkness into His wonderful light,” said Aglow president Rosalind Eskew. “If you need encouragement and a place to sit at Jesus’s feet with others who love Him or just want to know Him more, join us.”
