Pierce County High Basketball hosts its annual kids camp for boys and girls grades K-5. Camp dates are July 10-12, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. daily (lunch provided) in the PCHS gym. Cost is $60. Checks should be made payable to the PCHS Tip-Off Club, due on the first day of camp. Contact [email protected].

Reserved tickets for the 2023 PCHS football season that were not previously sold to returning seatholders are available July 10. Send questions to [email protected]. The 2023 regular season includes six home dates and kicks off August 25 at home versus Jeff Davis. The Bears also play a home pre-season scrimmage August 11 against Clinch County.

College of Coastal Georgia and Southeast Georgia Health System will host the 2nd edition of Nurse Camp, July 11-14 for those who applied by the May deadline. Instruction is 9-4 daily.

Dual enrollment students: Coastal Pines Technical College will host an information session July 13 at 10 a.m. on the Waycross campus. This meeting is for rising, current, or recently graduated high school students who wish to know more about what CPTC offers.

Faculty members who plan on driving a school bus or the activity bus next school year need to have your physical and drug screen conducted between July 14-24 at Ware Express Care. No appointment is necessary.

Faculty members who plan on driving a school bus, activity bus, or using an SUV to transport students next school year are required to attend training on July 27 at 9 a.m. in the PCHS auditorium.

Rising juniors: You are required to have the meningococcal booster shot before entering the 11th grade, unless your first dose was received on or after your 16th birthday. This shot is available at the Pierce County Health Department.
