Special to the WJH Unison Behavioral Health recently honored Human Resources Director Laura Fullard for 35 years of service with the agency.
Fullard has led Unison’s HR service since 2011. She often calls the department the heart of the agency, and she leads the department with unwavering dedication and heart.
Fullard also has served as the Chair of the HR Committee for the Georgia Association of Community Service Boards (GACSB) for approximately 10 years and served as mentor and advisor to many HR staff throughout the GACSB network.
As a member of Unison's Senior Management Team, Fullard leads and coordinates the agencies Leadership Academy and Shine Leadership program. She also serves on the agency's Quality Management Team, Diversity Equity and Inclusion Committee, and leads the Employee Engagement Committee.
Laura is known as a pillar of support, champion for employees, and a guiding force behind workplace culture and leadership.
Fullard started her career with Unison in 1990 as a Secretary/Typist. Her role shifted to HR in 1994 with a transfer to the Personnel Department.
