HOBOKEN — A Brantley County man is facing charges after shooting at a house on Raybon Road West.
Josh Ammons, 50, reportedly fired 12 rounds at a residence Friday night, February 21 around 9:45 p.m., in the 8300 block of Raybon Rock Road.
“I believe it was somebody he knew,” said Sheriff Len Davis Friday, February 28. “He was spotted and a traffic stop was made.”
According to the sheriff, Ammons was pulled over near the Friendly Express in Hoboken. Officers with the City of Hoboken and City of Nahunta aided Brantley County Sheriff’s Office deputies.
A search of Ammons’ vehicle reportedly found two guns and a pellet gun.
Ammons was charged with Aggravated Assault, Marijuana Possession Less Than 1 Oz., Speeding, Reckless Driving, Aggravated Assault, Possession of Firearm or Knife During Commission of or Attempt to Commit Certain Felonies and Possession of a Schedule II Controlled Substance.
