Public input is being sought on improvements to three railroad crossings in Blackshear and Patterson.
The Georgia Dpeartment of Transportation has placed a notice of location and design approval for all three projects in the public notices section of The Times.
The Gilman Road and Keller Street Railroad crossings in Blackshear and the Georgia Highway 32 (Main Street) crossing in Patterson are all slated to get upgrades in 2026 as part of the work.
The three projects were among 16 crossings to receive work in Brantley, Chatham, Liberty, Pierce and Wayne Counties.
Construction will occur for approximately one month in each location.
