Linda Sue ‘Susie’ Cason

Linda Sue “Susie” Thomas Cason, 73, of Offerman, passed away Friday morning, July 21, 2023, at her residence.

Born in Screven September 5, 1949, she had lived in Pierce County all her life. She was a homemaker and was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church. She enjoyed taking care of her flowers, gardening, and fishing. She dearly loved her family and friends and just loved life in general.

She was a daughter of the late Willie Henry and Julie Sofrona Henderson Thomas.  She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Sadie Taylor and Ethel Passmore and all seven of her brothers, David, William, Bud, John, Bill, Pete, and Daniel Thomas.

Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Samuel “Sammy” Cason, Offerman; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Terry and Chandra Tyre and David Cason, all of Offerman; two sisters, Laura Walker, Patterson and Janie Aspinwall, Brunswick; three grandchildren, Tiffany (Taylor) Dixon, Garrett Tyre and Madison Cason; a great-grandson, Reed Dixon; and another great-grandson on the way, Rhett Dixon and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday, July 23, at the funeral home.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, July 24, from the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe Carr and the Bro. Wesley Brown officiating.

Interment will be in the Offerman Cemetery.
