BRUNSWICK – Mr. William Clarke Norton, 84 of Brunswick, passed away Saturday, February 15, 2025 at his residence after an extended illness.
Born in Brunswick, his mother was Wilma Clark Norton. Norton retired after 24 years of service with the United States Air Force as Chief Mast e r Sargeant. He loved his family, his puppy, Blacky, and watching Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Carter Norton of Brunswick; a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel Carter (Jennifer) of Waynesville; a daughter and son-in-law, Nancy Daniels (Billy Jeff, Jr.) of Waverly; six grandchildren, Courtney Hope, Dillion Daniels, Dystanee Daniels, Emily Carter, Mackenzie Carter and Donathan Cox; several great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Ronnie Norton (Beth) of Atlanta; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
