I found out last week Dave Callaway passed away suddenly at the age of 74 years old.
I have known Dave for many years and considered him to be a very good friend. I worked with him on several projects such as all of the Brantley Magazines and a few of the Waycross Magazines.
Anytime he needed photos for something, he knew all he had to do was give me a call or send me an email. More than likely, I had a picture or could get one to him shortly.
This was especially if it had anything to do with the Satilla River or Brantley County. We never had any issues at all.
I think he was a really great guy who loved Waycross and had all sorts of things going on to promote it.
To his wife, Sharon, son David, Jr., daughters Allison and Tricia, and all of his grandchildren, Dave will be missed.
To my old friend Dave, may you rest in peace.
