WAYCROSS — Visiting Brantley County swept Ware County in a non-region match here Tuesday.
The Lady Herons beat the Lady Gators 4-1 with the Herons posting a 5-0 victory.
Brantley County travels Thursday, February 20 to face Lowndes in Valdosta. BCHS will participate Friday and Saturday, February 21 and February 22 in the Jekyll Jam.
Ware County plays today (Wednesday, February 19) at Coffee. WCHS will travel Friday and Saturday, February 21 and February 22 to play in the Statesboro Slam.

Brantley County swept the singles action in straight sets losing just two games.
Brooklyn Wildes downed Makayla Moore 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 with Raylee Strickland knocking off Ella Beth Cox 60, 6-1 at No. 2. Haley June Smith blanked Morgan Cato 6-0, 6-0 at No. 3.
The Lady Herons’ No. 1 doubles tandem of Jacie Riggins and Harlee Driggers eased past Paislee Wildes and Elly Blackrich 6-3, 6-1. Ware County’s Madison Roberts and Kayleigh LeMay needed a third-set, 10-point tie-breaker to beat Bri Crews and Savannah Carroll 6-4, 4-6, 10-6.

The Herons rolled to four straight set victories winning a fifth in a third set tiebreaker in winning.
Rohan Davis held off William Bates 75, 6-2 at No. 1 singles. Jayce Chapman posted a 6-1, 6-2 victory over J.V. Manabat at No. 2. Owen Spadley posted. 6-0, 6-0 decision at No.3 over Luke Crosby.
BCHS’s No. 1 doubles team of Jett Florey and Evan Payne rolled to a 6-0, 6-1 win over Nick Simmons and Cash Carter. The No. 2 duo of Miles Florey and Dalton Howell outlasted Miles Smith and Holton Rainwater 6-0, 6-7, 10-5.
