Come hear interventional cardiologist Dr. Eduardo Venegas give an overview of the screening process, medical management and interventions for PAD. The seminar will include Q&A with the doc. Light lunch will be served.

Southern Georgia Area Agency on Aging to hold ribbon cutting, Feb. 21 The Southern Georgia Regional Commission’s Area Agency on Aging will hold a ribbon cutting and welcoming ceremony 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 21 to dedicate a gazebo purchased for Bazemore Park at 1700 Riverside Avenue, Waycross. The gazebo and benches were purchased through funding provided by the AARP Community Challenge Project Grant.
The covered gazebo and comfortable outdoor benches will allow older adults to enjoy the open-air environment while providing shelter from the sun. The public is encouraged to attend.
