‘Love like Lanna’ fund is topic of Exchange

During a recent talk with the Exchange Club, Jamie Roberts spoke about lives being changed, people turning to Jesus and donations made to a fund that Lanna Denison requested be put into action during her last few days on Earth.

The Love Like Lanna (L3) fund is rooted in empathy and compassion, recognizing that when a child is struggling to meet basic needs, it can significantly impact their ability to learn and grow. By helping students in need of food, school supplies, clothing and sometimes even healthcare, L3 gives these children the stability needed to stay engaged at school.

Blackshear Elementary current has a clothing closet, school supplies and hygiene items, but is working hard to raise enough funds to get a shower, hair washing station, and washer and dryer.

Jamie Roberts spoke to the Exchange Club of Blackshear about this program and received a donation check to help with the fund’s goals. For more information, please contact Blackshear Elementary School, or email [email protected].
