NAHUNTA – William Brewer Reynolds, 82 of Nahunta, passed away Monday, February 3, 2025 at Memorial Satilla Health after an extended illness.
Born in Baxley, Reynolds was one of 11 children of the late Tommie Reynolds and Beatrice Long Reynolds. He is also preceded in death by a son, Robert Reynolds; two brothers; and three sisters.
Reynolds was a farmer and worked many years as a diesel mechanic. He was a member of Nahunta First Baptist Church and Teamsters Local 512. Williams loved spending time with his family, going fishing and bird watching.

Reynolds of Nahunta; two sons and a daughter-inlaw, George Reynolds of Nahunta and Roy Reynolds (Rachael) of Folkston; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; two brothers, Truman Reynolds and Donnie Reynolds of Vidalia; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Jean Horne of Orange Park, Fla., Barbara Ann (Steve) of North Augusta, S.C., and Patricia of California; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
A funeral service was held Friday afternoon, February 7, 2025 at Nahunta First Baptist Church with Rev. Jake Baum officiating.
Burial followed in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Pallbearers were George Reynolds, Roy Reynolds, George Salais, William A. Reynolds, Troy Everett, Brandon Tennison and Ricky Holbrook.
Honorary pallbearers were Cuyler Reynolds, Robert Reynolds and Dana Peters.
Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.

Janette Drury Nail Clark
THALMANN — Janette Drury Nail Clark, 93 of Thalmann, died Tuesday, February 4, 2025.
Mrs. Clark had resided in the Mt. Pleasant Comm unity the past 20 years and was a member of Glynn Baptist Church in Thalmann. She was a lifelong homemaker and in her leisure time enjoyed traveling, crocheting, fishing, gardening and cooking.
Her former husbands, Isaac Council “I.C.” Nail and B.C. Clark, preceded her in death.
Survivors are two daughters, Earnestine (Steve) Harper of Mt. Pleasant and Debbie (Bill) Nattrass of Thalmann; two sons, Rafael (Robin) Nail of Baxley and Gary Nail of Mt. Pleasant; four grandchildren, Ashby and Wyatt Nail, Stephanie (Doug) Chadwick and Kayla (Brent) McDaniel; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Rinehart Chapel with Pastor Rick Turner officiating.
Interment followed in the Whitaker Hill Cemetery, Hwy. 32 and Post Road in Mt. Pleasant.
Active pallbearers were her family and friends.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Rinehart and Sons Funeral Home of Jesup is in charge of arrangements.
