Blackshear Rotary Club members heard from Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Christi Pitts at last week’s meeting. Pitts updated the club on the chamber’s Legacy Leadership programs and the chamber’s plan to host at least three workshops this year. The workshops will be a resource for business members. Pitts has created a welcome packet for new residents and is working to revive the chamber as a welcome center for the community. Pitts, with assistance from the chamber board and ambassadors, is also planning this year’s Chamber Awards & Gala, set for April 24.
