The Exchange Club of Blackshear was honored to present Ashton Bowen with the Student of the Month Award for October. Bowen is the captain of the Pierce County Bears Soccer Team and plans to go to Georgia College in Milledgeville to study management information systems. His favorite teacher, Cindy Reddish, said “Ashton is well rounded, not just in book smart, but always has a smile on his face, and I am confident he will excel at whatever he chooses to do in the future.” Pictured above are (lr) Chris Shimkus, Exchange Club President, Dana Bowen, Ashton Bowen and Reddish.
