Connell, Morris, Arnold sign letters-of-intent — Three Pierce County athletes signed letters-ofintent during National Signing Day Wednesday, February 5, 2025. Mackenzie Connell (left) will take her golfing talents to the women’s program at North Georgia College, a NCAA Division II school in Dahlonega. The Nighthawks, coached by Sierra Campbell, compete in the Peach Belt Conference. Dixon Morris (center), a member of the PCHS football team, signed with Shorter University in Rome. The NCAA Division II Hawks of head coach Zach Morrison, who play at famed Barron Stadium, went 3-7 last season playing in Conference Carolinas. Ethan Arnold (right) signed with NAIA’s College of Coastal Georgia golf program in Brunswick. The Mariners are members of the Sun Conference. SPECIAL PHOTO
