VALDOSTA — Courtney Smith Bass, a Waycross native, has been named a partner with the Valdosta law firm Langdale Vallotton, LLP.
Langdale Vallotton, LLP provides a full range of legal services to clients throughout south Georgia.
Bass’s practice focuses on commercial real estate, secured lending, estate planning, probate, and business and corporate law. She is licensed to practice law in both Georgia and Florida.
Bass graduated from Ware County High School in 2011 and holds two degrees from the University of Georgia.
As an undergraduate student, Bass was a member of the Order of Omega Honor Society and a recipient of the William I. Ray, Jr., Journalism Scholarship. In 2015, she graduated summa cum laude from UGA with a Bachelor’s Degree in journalism and public relations.
In 2018, Bass graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she was inducted into the Order of the Coif for her academic achievements.
While in law school, Bass served as a judicial intern to Justice Michael P. Boggs of the Georgia Supreme Court. She also participated in the University of Georgia’s Prosecutorial Justice Clinic as well as the Mediation Clinic.
Bass joined Langdale Vallotton, LLP upon her graduation from law school in 2018.
She currently resides in Moultrie with her husband, Landon, and their daughter, Tatum. She is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Florida Bar, the Valdosta Bar Association and the Georgia Association for Women Lawyers.
