ABAC announces its 2024 Fall Honors list TIFTON – Three Brantley Countians were recognized for academic excellence in their coursework during the Fall semester at Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College.

ABAC cites its top academic students each semester on the President’s Honor List, the Dean’s Honor List, and the Distinguished Achievement List.

Tessa Dixon of Nahunta was named to the President’s List. The President’s List is the highest academic honor possible for ABAC students. Each student on the list attained an “A” in every subject, resulting in a perfect 4.0 grade point average. The students had to carry a minimum of 12 hours of academic work.

Bryson Whitworth of Waynesville earned Dean’s List honors.

Students who qualified for the Dean’s List attained a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and carried at least 12 hours of academic work.

Shayla Melton of Hoboken was named to the Distinguished Achievement List. The Distinguished Achievement List is composed of students who complete between six and 11 hours of academic work with a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.

SGSC releases 2024 Fall Honors list UNDATED — A total of 676 South Georgia State College students have earned a spot on the Fall 2024 Academic Recognition Lists, according to an announcement today by Interim Vice President for Academic & Student Affairs, Sara Selby. 175 students earned a spot on the President’s List, 189 on the Dean’s List, and 312 on the Academic Honors List.

Named to the President’s List were Reagan E. Bowers, Macayla A. Dunsmore, Jordan Harper, Maggie Harris, Raygen R. Helmuth, Kathryn Lee, Garrett W. Musgrove, Jonathan D. Page, Calen M. Raulerson, Widson D. Val and Bennett L. Williams.

Students enrolled in 12 or more semester hours of study with a grade point average of 4.0 are placed on the President’s List for the semester.

Making the Dean’s List were Alli C. Brooks, Taylor R. Crews and Jesalyn J. Keene.

Students with a semester average of 3.5 to 3.9 on 12 or more semester hours of study are placed on the Dean’s List for that semester.

The Academic Honors List included Kelley Griffin, Erica P. Hall, Zoey Z. Johnson, Lauren Raya Sandoval, Lenora L. Rowe, Traci Spell, Kristy Thomas, Belinda A. Todd, Kinsley Townsend and Chasadee N. Waldron.

Students enrolled in 5 to 11 semester hours of study with a grade point average of 3.5 or better are listed on the Academic Honors List for that semester.
