Jeffrey David Nicholls, 60, of Nahunta, passed away suddenly Friday morning, July 28, 2023, at his residence.
Born in Panama City, FL on March 13,1963, he lived in Brantley County most of his life. He was retired from the United States Postal Service. He loved spending his free time tinkering on things, as well as working on cars and woodworking. He was a big fan of NASCAR, but most importantly, he loved his family and his grandchildren.
He was the only son of the late David Jefferson and Norma Faye Dykes Nicholls. He was also preceded in death by two grandchildren.
Survivors include three sons, Wesley Nicholls, Nahunta, Kevin (Chrissy) Nicholls, Macclenny, FL, and Eric (Chelsea) Nicholls, Waycross; two sisters, Sherri (Rev. Tim) Hall, Folkston and Heidi (Ernie) Thomas, Nahunta; six grandchildren, Chevy, Levi, Branson, Martin, Faye and Fallon and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. today, Wednesday, August 2, at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today, Wednesday, August 2, from the Pearson-Dial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ernie Thomas officiating.
Interment will be in the Hortense Cemetery.
