Editor, The Times: I have been in touch with Pierce County Roads supervisor Bruce Carter concerning debris removal from our roads for a while and I can tell you they are moving as fast as possible to complete this huge project.
His entire crew has worked seven days a week since Hurricane Helene and as you well know it was a real ornery girl to our county. I just want to thank Bruce and his crew for their outstanding efforts and long hours spent trying to get us back to normal. They are going as fast as their equipment, manpower and budget will allow them too.
If you are still waiting please continue to have patience, they are seriously on this as fast as possible. Thank you Bruce and crews!
