Henry Dewayne Cooler

WOODBINE – Henry Dewayne Cooler, 71 of Woodbine, passed away early Saturday morning, January 25, 2025 at his residence after an extended illness.

Born in Woodbine, Cooler’s parents were Rufus Cooler and Katie Miller Cooler. He is also preceded in death by two brothe rs, Charles Cooler and Rufus Cooler, Jr.

Cooler retired from the Camden County Road Department after 45 years as a truckdriver. He was a member of St. Marks Episcopal Church. Cooler was an avid Georgia Bulldog football fan and loved getting out and riding around.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Cooler of Woodbine; two sons and daughters-in-law, Olan Dewayne Cooler (Denise) of Sulphur, La., and Carl Curtis Cooler (Peggy) of Woodbine; a daughter and son-in-law, Stephanie Hinman (Billie) of Woodbine; eight grandchildren, Kason Cooler, Danica Mason, Cody Mason, Kyle Carswell( Kara), Kaylie Depew (Randall), Kelsey Hinman, Kaitilyn Cooler and Kendall Cooler; three great grandchildren, Bentlee Carswell, Braylee Carswell and Tulsen Depew; a brother, Edvin Cooler of Woodbine; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.

A graveside service was held Tuesday, January 28, 2025 at Colesburg Cemetery with Bro. Clifton Roberson officiating.

Pallbearers were Chuck Cooler, Clifton Cooler, Chris Harris, Marco Porter, Mark Web and Robert Strickland.

Arrangements were with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
