Unison schedules meetings Jan. 23 Unison Behavioral Health will hold meetings Thursday, January 23 in the board room at the offices, 1007 Mary Street.

The audit committee meets at 11:30 a.m. and the board of directors at noon. The sessions are open to the public.

Bacon to hold seniors dance

The Bacon County Senior Center, 108 E 5th Street in Alma, will hold a Winter Dance for senior citizens from 6:30 to 10 p.m., Friday, January 24.

DJ Fred Hand will be playing all the favorite songs from the 1950s, ’60s and ’70s.

Regional library board meets Feb.3

The Regional Board of the Okefenokee Regional Library System will meet at 4 p.m., Monday, February 3 at the Waycross-Ware County Public Library, 401 Lee Avenue.

MSH has diabetes discussion Jan. 24

Memorial Satilla Health will hold a panel discussion on diabetes at noon, Friday, January 24 at the Train Depot Community Room, 315 Plant Avenue.

A team of medical professionals will discuss the disease, its prevention and care in the free forum.

Chamber seeks hosts for events The Waycross-Ware County Chamber of Commerce is compiling its list of hosts for its Rise ‘n’ Shine and Business After Hours meetings for 2025.
