NAHUNTA — Miss Edna Mae Harris, 85 of Nahunta, passed away early Friday morning, January 17, 2025, at her residence.
Born October 12, 1939 in Nahunta, Miss Harris had lived in Brantl e y County all her life. She was a homemaker and was also a farmer, having worked on the family farm since she was a child.
Miss Harris was a hardworking woman who was good at everything she did. She loved to crochet and be outdoors. Miss Harris also loved to cook and cherished visits from her friends and family.
She was the daughter of the late James Samuel “Jim” and Mary Hickox Harris. Miss Harris was also preceded in death by her brother, Dewey Edward Harris; and a special cousin and caregiver, see OBITS, Page 5
