The deadline to apply for Federal Emergency Management Agency assistance has been extended to Friday, February 7.
It originally was set to expire Tuesday, January 7.
The four ways to apply will remain active an additional month for the declared counties for those in need of disaster assistance.
The four ways to apply are: online at www.disasterassistance.gov, calling 1800-621-3362, using the FEMA app, or visiting a Disaster Recovery Center in person.
Locate a disaster recovery centers by visiting www.fema.gov/drc, www/disasterassistance. gov, calling (800) 6213362, or send a text to 43362. When sending the text, type “DRC” and include zip code.
