Unison Board of Directors to meet
The Unison Behavioral Health Board of Directors will hold a board meeting at noon Thursday, January 23 in the Unison Behavioral Health Board Room, 1007 Mary Street, Waycross. SGRC Council to meet Jan. 23
A meeting of the Southern Georgia Regional Commission Council is scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, January 23. The meeting will be held at the SGRC Waycross Office located at 1725 S. Georgia Parkway W., Waycross.
This meeting is open to the public.
Life with Diabetes panel Jan. 24

CASA seeks volunteers for one year
The Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) group is currently seeking volunteers.
CASA represents abused and neglected children within the court system by advocating on their behalf. CASA volunteers also help find safe and permanent homes for these children.
Volunteers must agree to a one-year commitment to provide consistency and stability for children in the program. Volunteers must also be at least 21 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED and attend 30 hours of comprehensive training. Training is done in class, online or by home study. Criminal background checks will be performed on all CASA volunteers.
