Patterson City Council approves rezoning request for Jeremiah’s Promise school on Drawdy Street

Patterson City Council approved rezoning to allow for a new school on Drawdy Street.

The council approved a request by Vanessa Markel Smith to approved rezoning a two acre tract on Drawdy Street from agriculture/forestry to public/institutional for the new school.

A public hearing on the change was held prior to the meeting. There was no public comment on the issue.

The location on Drawdy Street is the proposed new home of Jeremiah’s Promise. The location is the former site of the True Life (Assembly of God) Church, which recently closed. The church facility will now be home to the new school.
