A swearing in ceremony was held last week for the new members of the the Pierce County Recreation Board. Probate Judge Moye Howard conducted the swearing in. Shown l-r are Judge Howard and new members Chris Wright representing district 2, Jake Stewart representing district one and Trey Thompson representing district four. Wright takes the place of Barrett Boatright, Stewart takes the place of Timothy Griffis and Thompson takes the place of Johnny Thigpen Jr. Members of the reorganized recreation board include (l-r) Recreation director Maureen Brown, Chairman Chris Wright, Brad Arington, County Commmissioner and Ex-Officio member Randy Dixon, Vice Chairman Trey Thompson, Anna Saucedo and Treasurer Jake Stewart.
