Clinch Co. woman facing multiple charges

NAHUNTA — A Homerville woman was arrested by the Nahunta Police Department following a January 2 traffic stop.

Tiffany Lorraine Hendley, 29, of Homerville, is facing multiple charges of Georgia Move Over Law Violation, Driving While License Suspended, No Insurance, Possession of a Schedule II Narcotic and Pills Not Kept in Original Container following the Thursday night stop.

At approximately 11:44 p.m., an officer with the Nahunta Crime Suppression Unit (CSU) conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for a traffic infraction. During the stop, it was determined Hendley was operating a motor vehicle on a suspended license and with no valid insurance.

Further investigation by the CSU investigator revealed Hendley was in possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.

Hendley was placed under arrest without any incident.

“The Nahunta Police Department remains committed to ensuring the safety of our community through proactive enforcement efforts,” Chief Brad Todd said. “We encourage the public to report any suspicious activity to assist in keeping our neighborhoods safe.”
