First-year nursing students from South Georgia State College recently toured Memorial Satilla Health, meeting with program directors and hospital leadership. The students visited the Heart Center, Birthing Center, Medical-Surgical Department and Critical Care. The class also heard presentations from Chief Nursing Officer Celeste Brizzee and VP of Human Resources Greg O’Quinn. Brizzee and O’Quinn also held an informal question-and-answer session with the students to wrap up the day. “We are honored to host nursing students for a tour of our facility. It's a privilege to support the next generation of healthcare professionals by giving them a first-hand look at the opportunities and challenges within our hospital,” said Dale Neely, MSH Chief Executive Officer. “We believe that such experiences are invaluable in inspiring and preparing future nurses for their critical role.”
