Midway Elementary School’s (MES) PE department sponsored a canned food drive for the Sycamore Tree as their philanthropy activity and hosted a Gobble Wobble one mile fun run to celebrate the Thanksgiving holidays.
All the gathered canned food was donated to our Benevolence Ministry, the Sycamore Tree.

Fifth grade winners are as follows for both the girls’ and boys’ races: First place: Kaylee Gruver 5:55, Cam Yeomans 5:35 Second place: Rylan Mosely 6:31 , Hudson Zauner 5:35:10 Third place: Kayla Sergent 6:32 , Deklan Riggins 5:43 The boys had 5:35 and 5:35:10 for a photo-finish 1st and 2nd place win. 3rd place was 5:43! All three of these guys have smashed the standing record of 5:48 set by James Alonso.
