Dr. Martin Luther King (MLK) Jr. Day Parade. Let’s make it another great celebration for Dr. King. The committee would like for everyone to take part in this celebration.
The parade will be Monday, January 20. Starting point will be at the Board of Education and ending at the Lee Street Resource Center. We are asking all participants to be there at 9:15 a. m. Starting time will be at 10 a. m. Isaac Moses is the chairman of the MLK committee.
The annual MLK Scholarship Program will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, January 18, at Scott Chapel Methodist Church, 420 Highway Avenue South, Blackshear. All are welcome to come. Thank you in advance.
