The Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Committee will have their annual scholarship program at 5 p.m. Saturday, December 10, at the Kingdom Faith Church, 823 N. Gordon Street, Blackshear. Pastor of the church is Pastor Tony Terrell Reynolds.
Minister Emily Anderson will be the keynote speaker for the event.
She is an administrator in the Ware County School System and ministers at Evergreen Church of Bristol.
The public in invited to attend this program. The children will be the recipients of these scholarships.
Refreshments will be served.
