Students sold refreshing “Lit Lemonade” to raise an impressive $769.14. All proceeds were donated to two special local organizations assisting families affected by childhood cancer: Mattie’s Mission and Campground Ministries.
Lit Lemonade is similar to Lit teas. Students combined lemonade flavors to make their own creation. The combined efforts of Beta sponsors, students, and staff for their enthusiastic participation, and the Beta parent volunteers who served lemonade during students’ lunch, all made a significant impact.
