WJH bicentennial coloring contest winners

bicentennial coloring contest. Kolbi, a kindergartener at Wacona Elementary, was presented a new bicycle Thursday, December 19 by Publisher Rick Head. Kolbi told Jolly the Elf she would also like a real dog, a newborn baby that crawls, coloring stuff, and to be healthy and happy. Amari Jordan (middle) was another of three winners of the coloring contest. Head presented Amari with a special Christmas goodie bag Friday, December 20. Amari, who is in pre-K at Daffodil,would also like a sword and shield from Santa. Rylan Mosley (right), a fifth grade student at Midway Elementary School in Pierce County, was the third winner. Rylan had not asked Santa for anything as of Friday. There were 24 entries in the contest for ages 5-under, 6-9 years and 10-12 years of age. Ganas was in the 6-9 division, Jordan in the 5-under and Mosley in the 10-12.
