Mincey
WAYCROSS — Mr. Jerry W. Mincey, 85, passed away Monday morning, December 16, 2024, at Satilla Bluffs Senior Care after an extended illness.
A lifelong resident of Waycross, Mincey was born November 2, 1939, in Waycross to the late Wallace Paul Mincey and Sarah Beverly Mincey. He retired from Philip Morris USA as a regional sales manager and the Air National Guard as Master Sgt.
Survivors include his daughter, Chrisie Skipper of Waycross; his son, Jerry Mincey II (wife Amanda) of Jacksonville Beach, Fla.; grandchildren, Hunter Skipper (wife Madeline) of Blackshear, Hoke Skipper of Blackshear, Isabella Mincey of Tampa, Fla., and Jake Mincey of Jacksonville Beach; three brothers, Larry Mincey (wife Annette) of Kannapolis, N.C., Mike Mincey (wife Kathy) of South Salem, Ohio, and Wayne Mincey (wife Cindy) of Atlanta; his lifelong friend, Cecilia Herrin Mincey of Waycross; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Our heartfelt appreciation and gratitude goes to the staff of Satilla Bluffs Senior Care and Hearth Hospice for the wonderful compassion shown to our dad during his last years of life.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 11 at the Music Funeral Home Chapel.
