Veterans remembered with wreath-laying ceremony

Family and friends gathered to lay wreaths at the graves of veterans. At the center is Georgia State Sen. Russ Goodman (top photo), who presented Oneida Oliver-Sanders with a proclamation, honoring Sgt. Kennedy L. Sanders. United States military veterans laid wreaths (bottom photo) for each branch of the military. Raphel Maddox, (Army) (l-r) laid a wreath for the 93,129 P.O.W. and M.I.A. soldiers who never returned home. Larry Lockey (Navy) honored the Merchant Marines, Guylee Washington (Army) honored the Coast Guard, Constance Brown (Air Force) honored the Space Force, Bob Brown, (Air Force) honored the Air Force, Erik Leonard (Navy) honored the Navy, Sean Sanders (Marine Corps) honored the Marine Corps, and Ulysses “Duke’ Rayford honored the Army.
