Ruskin Elementary School’s fifth-grade student Cole Carter dropped an eight-point deer during the recent Thanksgiving holiday break. Carter’s parents, Emily and Bill Carter, have also killed a deer this season. Not to be outdone, grandmother Cindy Pearson killed a deer. Cole Carter is the great grandson of Gene and Joy Dixon of Waycross. Emily Carter is the granddaughter and Pearson is the daughter of the Dixons.
