October was a month of creativity and generosity at Midway Elementary, where the Beta Club students hosted a successful Harvest and Holidays Virtual Auction to support the Southeast Cancer Unit.
The creative and caring students channeled their artistic skills into crafting stunning wreaths, door hangers, table decor, and ornaments which were auctioned to the highest bidders.
This heartwarming initiative raised an impressive $730, reflecting the community's spirit of giving and support. The funds generated will help the Southeast Cancer Unit in its efforts to assist those affected by cancer.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the Beta students and their dedicated parents for their hard work and creativity, and to everyone who participated and placed bids on these beautiful items. Your contributions have made a meaningful difference and exemplify the power of community collaboration.
The auction was more than a chance to highlight the talent and dedication of Beta Club member, but was meant to illustrate the importance of coming together for a worthy cause.
