Judge Kelly Brooks of the Waycross Judicial District of the 1st Superior Court District swore in five officials and a court member Friday, December 20 inside the Brantley County courtroom. Pictured (l-r) are Rene Daniels of the Magistrate Court’s office, Magistrate Court Judge Jeff A. Thomas, Probate Court Judge Jonathan McMillan, Clerk of Court Debbie Sirmans, Tax Commissioner Pat Tompkins and Sheriff Len Davis. McMillan, the Chief of Police in Hoboken when he unseated Cassie Lee, was joined by his wife, Dustie, during the swearing in while Sirmans was joined by her husband, David.
