The Waycross Journal-Herald’s Christmas tradition, known as the Empty Stocking Fund, received five donations to surpass the $6,600 mark.
Contributions will be accepted through December 31. Donations to the Empty Stocking fund may be delivered from 8 a.m. until 4:30 p.m., weekdays to the Waycross Journal-Herald office at 311 Carswell Avenue or mailed to:

Five donations were received pushing the total to $6,645.

• $100: Annonymous;
• $20: In honor of J.R. Griffin;
• $500: Annonymous;
