BRUNSWICK – Bobby Gene Sumner, 60 of Brunswick, passed away Monday morning, December 9, 2024 at his residence after an extended illness.
Born in Brunswick, Sumner parents were Gene Monroe Sumner and Violet “Estha” Harris Sumner Johns.
He was a truckd river and of the Baptist faith. Sumner loved spending time with his family and being outdoors especially when it involved fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Sandra Sumner of Brunswick; two daughters, Bobbie Sue Sumner and Lainie Sumner both of Brunswick; a stepdaughter, Heather Kelley of Va.; three stepsons, Isaiah Davis of Brunswick, Richard Davis of Hickox and Mike Kelley of Virginia; 18 grandchildren; one great grandchild and one on the way; a brother and sister-in-law, Clyde Sumner (Glenda) of Jesup; and also several nieces, nephews, other relatives and a host of friends.
Arrangements are with Frye Funeral Home, Nahunta.
