The four ways to apply are still active for the declared counties for those in need of disaster assistance.
The four ways to apply are: online at www.disasterassistance. gov, calling 1-800-621-3362, using the FEMA app, or visiting a Disaster Recovery Center in person.
Locate a disaster recovery centers by visiting www.fema.gov/drc, www/disasterassistance.gov, calling (800) 621-3362, or send a text to 43362. When sending the text, type “DRC” and include zip code.
Dementia support group organized The Refinery, 522 Miles Still Road, is the site for a support group program for dementia caregivers.
The group meets from 4 to 5 p.m., the second Tuesday of each month. The next meeting is December 10.
