It’s really you Santa!

Christmas in the Park actually had a change of location to Eagle Station last Friday night, December 13. Santa and Mrs. Claus and the Grinch were the featured guests. Bounce houses, train rides and Bingo provided plenty of fun for those in attendance. The City of Patterson provided soups, hot dogs, trimmings, desserts and drinks. The event was sponsored Chemours of Offerman, Carters Fried Chicken in Patterson, Pierce County Public Library, Patterson Baptist Church, God’s House Church, Patterson, Offerman Baptist Church, Coca Cola, Piggly Wiggly, Patterson Historic Preservation, Patterson Art Gallery and the Eagle Station Advisory Board. Ada Jane Ball, nine months old, is shown meeting Santa for the first time. See more pics on page 12.

Patterson Christmas fun for all ages

The train rides were a popular attraction at the holiday event. Passengers both young and young at heart took a spin or two around Eagle Station in a hometown version of The Polar Express.

Patterson community volunteers served up a tasty variety of savory soups, hot dogs, sausage dogs and all the trimmings to Patterson’s hungry (and happy) hordes.
