PCMS grapplers win first conference title

LUDOWICI — Pierce County Middle School captured its first-ever Southeast Georgia Middle School Athletic Conference title here Saturday at Long County Middle School. The program’s best finish prior was as runner-up in 2010-11. Making up the PCMS roster were Matthew Stone, Grayson Carter, Klayton Markley, Gunner Sikes, Remington Altman, Nathan Mcfarland, William Shreeves, Robi Milsom, Caitlyn Hinnat, Jayden Altman, Connor Durrance, Josie Insalaco, Shevy Sapp, James Still, Uriah Hendrix, Simon McEuen, Bently Taylor, Brystol Dixon, Dillan Terry, Ja'shun Faison, Reb Dixon, Houston Davis, Preston Jewel, Sasha Eason, Halley Williams, Kathleen Abreu, Lydia O’Berry, Fisher Strickland, Layne Jennings, Levi Oglesby, Landon Bohannon, Aryiannah Henderson, Lee Thorton, Jake Taylor and Wilson Sweet. The team was coached by David Lanier, James Cox, Trace Insalaco and Michael Dockery.
