PCHS swims at Ware meet

Pierce County High School’s swim teams participated at the Ware County High School event with the Bears placing second and the Lady Bears fourth.

Sam Chesser set a new personal mark in the 100yard breaststroke with a time of 1:05.75. He has already qualified for the state meet.

Teagan Dixon finished first in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 1:11.89.

Chesser placed third in the 100-yard freestyle with a time of 58.61 seconds.

Jacey Ryals and Jasmine Sergent recorded third-places. Ryals recorded a time of 6:42.11 in the 500-yard freestyle event with Sergent posting a time of 2:32.54 in the 200-yard free.

The Bears’ 200-yard freestyle relay team of Rowan McCrae, Chesser, Walker Sergent and Donald Moser finished second with a time of 1:48.23 and third in the 200-yard medley (2:03.63).
