Midway Elementary School was recognized at last week’s school board meeting for being one of only 65 schools nationwide to be designated a National Distinguished School. The honor celebrates the school’s improvement on English/Language Arts and Math test scores from 20212023. Georgia State Senator Russ Goodman (R-Cogdell) presented a framed Senate resolution recognizing the honor.
