WAYCROSS — Mrs. Ashlea Nicole “Nicki” Turner Gill, 38 passed away Thursday, December 5, 2024, at Memorial Satilla Health in Waycross following an extended illness.
She was born in Waycross and graduated from Ware County High School in 2004. Mrs. Gill had lived in several areas of the country while her husband was in the military, but eventually moved back to the Bickley Community. She was a photographer and had a passion for writing in her spare time. She was a member of Bickley Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her biological father, James Michael “Mick” Turner.
She is survived by her two children, Tyler Gill and Conner Gill, both of Bickley; her mother, Jeannie Carter Thomas and the father who raised her, Gene Thomas of Bickley; and a brother, Cliff Thomas of Bickley.
A graveside service was held Monday, December 9 at Oak Grove Cemetery in Bickley.
