Perry Tison (center) was sworn in recently as the new school board member representing district 2. Tison succeeds former district 2 board member, the Rev. Mitch Hall. Hall resigned after recently moving out of the district. Tison is the former principal at Pierce County Middle School and retired in May, 2020 with 36 years of service in education. “I am excited to serve and looking forward to seeing the inner workings from the other side of the table after 36 years in education,” Tison said.
